[email protected] // 07977 511 075 the next yogafest will be 16th june 2018 -- click to watch yogafest 2017 at yogafest totnes, we offer a diversity of yoga styles with local teachers for you to explore and enjoy. it promises to be a day of nurturing and recharging your body and soul, and meeting new friends and like-minded people. tickets are on sale from may 15th 2018 . join the facebook page here , or email us here. namaste maite & nancy june 16th 2018 schedule 9 - 10 am ashtanga yoga yoga & voice womb yoga 10.30 - 11.30 yin yoga detox yoga & ayurveda scaravelli yoga 12 - 1pm shakti dance yoga kundalini yoga yoga nidra 1 - 2 pm lunch 2 - 3 pm yin yoga yoga & voice womb yoga 3.30 - 4.30 ashtanga yoga detox yoga & ayurveda scaravelli yoga 5 - 6 pm shakti yoga dance kundalini yoga yoga nidra 6.30 - 8 pm kirtan (chanting) view larger map location and time yogafest takes place in birdwood house (tq9 5np), on the front corner of totnes town square, and at bogan house just across the road. please come to birdwood house to register. you'll find the café downstairs here. classes take place in the two first floor rooms in birdwood house, and the downstairs room in bogan house. each class will run for one hour, and day-ticket holders can take as many classes as they like. we start at 9am and will be finishing at 6pm. there will be an hour lunch break from 1 to 2 pm. from 6.30pm until 8 pm we gather in birdwood house for kirtan (chanting), a beautiful, uplifting end to the day. investment & booking tickets are £40 (£35 low waged) for the whole day and evening, including a free chai. they can be purchased by bacs from may. kirtan alone £3. drop-in tickets can be purchased on the day for £7 per class, where space allows. please contact [email protected] or ring 07977 511 075 to book your space. there are 35 day tickets available. you will be able to choose your preferred classes on the day. people with day tickets have priority over drop-ins with regards to space. unfortunately you cannot book in advance for a specific class. our choice for this venue, with small rooms and central location in totnes, gives the festival a cosy, safe and home-made feeling. please be mindful that the rooms get filled easily and not everyone can always take a class at the time one wants. most classes happen twice during the day, giving you the option to get into a later class. once your payment has been made the ticket will be kept aside for you to collect when you register on arrival. refund policy if cancelled , minimum one week before the event, we will refund 50%. no refund will be given if cancelled within one week of the event. it is possible in either case to find another person to take your place and pass the ticket on. finding a replacement and letting us know will be your responsibiity. cafe virginia teaches yoga locally and leads retreats. jodie trained with devon school of yoga and teaches in st marychurch, torquay, both have been fortunate to assist some accomplished cooks on retreats and have a passion for whole and nutritious, delicious food. all food is mindfully prepared, locally sourced and free from pesticides. this way of preparing cooking and eating is inspired by ayurvedic principles and always free from harm to any living being. practicalities please bring your own yoga mat & blanket; a bottle of water is a good idea. during classes, please take care of your own body - nobody knows it like you do ! please tell the teacher anything she/ he needs to know about any health issues. subscribe to the yogafest mailing list feedback from yogafest "thank you so much for organising this event. i enjoyed every single class. the teaching was excellent. the breaks in between were very useful and needed. i look forward to the next event" "fantastic day - thank you all. very professional, inspiring teachers you all are. i feel very safe and in good hands with you. bless you all."
